leash and off leash aggression

i've been having some rotten encounters lately. i can't seem to get along with strange dogs. i've got urges, you know? i want to protect my family. i want to be the center (that's another story). so, walks have become a real problem for my dad. he can't control me around other dogs. forget it. i've got one agenda when i see another dog. show 'em who the boss is. that's right! me. millie. mememe. i bark, i get in their face. i act all big and powerful. i even tried to attack a stafford terrior at the vet's office. who knew they were stonger? luckily i was the only aggressive one in that situation. dad was pretty scared there for a moment. so, what's he to do. anyone have any experience with what i'm going through?

i know my dad would like to know.

pain in the neck

so, there is a mini scare in millieland. i have a small lump on my neck that started very small like a pebble or bead and now has grown flat and the size of a nickel. we went to the vet and dr. t said he isn't worried. he believes it's just a swollen gland of sorts. anyway, i'm taking antibiotics for it and we've all got our fingers and paws crossed for the best. dr t. also said it would be very rare if it were a tumor. like 0%- so, don't you worry! mom is doing enough of it for everyone.

p.s. here is what mom sees when i'm begging to sit on her lap while she's working in the office.

bye-bye puppy

i am getting tall and the vet told us i weigh 15 lbs already. my favorite thing to do lately is burrow under the blankets with mom and get as close as i can in the scoop behind her bent knees. i also like to lay on laps and catch people off guard with a sudden burst of kisses. here is a picture of me from this morning.

i'm having a happy september... i thought all the flowers were gone-
and then up popped these. bumblebees were all over and a butterfly
landed on my head. life is wonderful. i hope all is the same where
you are.
